The picture shows a newly dug trench for the new kitchen.Work done to date includes total gutting of the building, rewiring, plumbing, extension of the central heating system, fitting a new toilet, cutting back the garden/jungle surrounding the site and internal repainting of which about 1/3 is still to complete. Future work includes external painting and completion of the interior decorations, construction of display cases and shop area, production and erection of signs and exhibition labels.

There is still plenty to do so any help at all will be appreciated. Alternatively you may like to consider making a donation of materials or cash to help the project along.

We have had a lot of support from local organisations with a number of significant donations of material and a £2000 grant from Mann 2000 towards display cases. There are too many to list here but all sponsors will be acknowledged in the museum. Our attendance at the Royal British Legion's "Century of Service" exhibition at the Villa Marina raised a lot of interest and positive comment. More and more people are realising that we exist and what our plans are.

An eye catching new logo has been designed and this will appear on the Museum's name board and on our letterheads shortly.
